ABOUT

About The Good Shepherd

Biblical clarity for the life you are actually living.

The Good Shepherd is the written home of The Daily Altar, the Christian show from King Gray (Dorien Gray Tennant) on YouTube. The episode brings the message. This site gives you room to sit with it, apply it, and carry it into your home.

Here you’ll find:

  • The Shepherd’s Letter: a free weekly letter. Each issue has a full article here on the site.
  • The Preparedness Hub: calm, practical help for the household. Covers the pantry, emergency kits, budget readiness and first-aid basics.
  • Devotionals: Scripture-centered reflections that end in one faithful step.
  • The Blog: teaching on faith, family, stewardship and the times we’re living in.

Why this exists

The Good Shepherd was created from lived experience, not theory. It rests on one conviction: faith is meant to be lived in ordinary days, and God still restores what feels broken.

The calling is simple:

Feed the people. Protect the flock. Lead with truth.

Above all, this work exists to point people to Jesus Christ. Everything else here (the household planning, the money conversations, the preparedness lists) is about being faithful with the people and the things God has entrusted to us. We don’t prepare to hide. We prepare to serve.

Who it’s for

  • People who are hurting, searching, or undecided about faith.
  • Believers who want to grow and put their faith into practice.
  • Parents, spouses and grandparents who carry responsibility for a household and want a plan instead of panic.
